While covering professional and collegiate sports around the country for the last 10 years, Amanda has had the pleasure of connecting with a number of amazing women. The idea to start a show highlighting these women came to her years ago, but it wasn't until she recently got laid off from a dream job that she decided to make it happen. Amanda aims to show off the sisterhood that exists in sport, amongst women who are responsible for much of the content we consume today.
She's made stops in Tampa (where she was raised) to host a radio show and cover local teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Lightning. She's lived in Jacksonville, where she co-hosted two sports radio shows and covered the Jacksonville Jaguars. She's spent time in NYC, traveling and telling stories about the New York Rangers. She's also lived in the Bay Area in California, where she worked as a Multiplatform Journalist for Yahoo Sports, covering all sports at a national level and hosting a number of live shows.
The purpose of "And So She Goes" is to create a space to share stories and learn what women around the country are experiencing and accomplishing. These women range in age, background, experience, and roles. Whether they are broadcasters, CEOs, coaches, athletes, front office executives, trainers, or even in a position you've never heard of, Amanda guarantees you will learn something from each and every episode.
